Back in middle school, when I didn’t have my own phone, my sister and I would sneak our mom’s phone to sketch app interfaces and pretend they were real, tapping and swiping our way through “apps” we had designed ourselves. Looking back, I guess I’ve been a product designer since I was 12.
During my undergrad, navigating a confusing and unintuitive student portal made registering for classes a frustrating experience. That moment made me realize this must be how the older generation feels with rapidly evolving technology, and inspired me to focus on bridging the gap between people and technology, designing experiences that are approachable, intuitive, and empowering.
Now, as a master’s student in Information Science at Cornell University with a concentration in Connective Media, I get to turn that curiosity into creating experiences that truly improve how people interact with technology. I bring a love for problem-solving, a curious mind, and a desire to design with care, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and creating experiences that make a real difference.
